Sault swell spot to drop anchor

One Pearl Mist Great Lakes tour passenger describes Sault Ste. Marie as “lovely, clean and peaceful.”

Dimitri Vitkoff and his companion, Yolanda Gonzalez, come from California where they said it’s more crowded and not so clean compared to Sault Ste. Marie.

“Canada does a great job with their flower arrangements,” said Gonzalez.

The Sault welcomes three different cruise ships this summer: Pearl Mist, M-V Victory I and Le Champlain. The trio docks in Sault Ste. Marie 20 times between June and October, Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corp., says.
